Caudo Vineyard is a 15 minute drive from the Waikerie Golf & Country Club, it boasts a spectacular cellar door on the banks of the River Murray serving fine wine & sangria with local food and gourmet pizza. It is the perfect afternoon escape to enjoy a wine and an unforgettable view of the River Murray.<\/p>\n

The Caudo\u2019s range of wines is produced from the fertile vineyards on the edge of the Murray. The vineyard was once a successful rose farm, and the wines are named after the varieties that were grown on site including Peace Chardonnay, Honor Shiraz, and Olympiad Merlot.<\/p>\n

Burk Salter Wines is a boutique winery and cellar door located in Blanchtown approximately 20 minutes drive from the Waikerie Golf Club. The history of Burk Salter Wines is rich and can be traced back to vines being planted in 1930 by Burk and Frank Salter.\n\nThe winery was founded by Greg and Jane Salter in 2002 and is named after Greg\u2019s father Burk. Delicious wines coupled with fine food, while they even offer exclusive tours of their family vineyard and surrounding wetlands onboard a restored 1927 Chevrolet Truck, as you are guided around the wetlands you will come across many species of birds, flora, wildlife, an aboriginal canoe tree and a historic Blackstone Steam Pump.
