Caudo Vineyard is a 15 minute drive from the Waikerie Golf & Country Club, it boasts a spectacular cellar door on the banks of the River Murray serving fine wine & sangria with local food and gourmet pizza. It is the perfect afternoon escape to enjoy a wine and an unforgettable view of the River Murray.
The Caudo’s range of wines is produced from the fertile vineyards on the edge of the Murray. The vineyard was once a successful rose farm, and the wines are named after the varieties that were grown on site including Peace Chardonnay, Honor Shiraz, and Olympiad Merlot.

WETLAND TOURS.
Burk Salter Wines is a boutique winery and cellar door located in Blanchtown approximately 20 minutes drive from the Waikerie Golf Club. The history of Burk Salter Wines is rich and can be traced back to vines being planted in 1930 by Burk and Frank Salter.
The winery was founded by Greg and Jane Salter in 2002 and is named after Greg’s father Burk. Delicious wines coupled with fine food, while they even offer exclusive tours of their family vineyard and surrounding wetlands onboard a restored 1927 Chevrolet Truck, as you are guided around the wetlands you will come across many species of birds, flora, wildlife, an aboriginal canoe tree and a historic Blackstone Steam Pump. There is no shortage of experiences at Burk Salter..

Banrock Station provides the ideal setting to enjoy an outstanding wine, food and nature experience located 20 minutes from the Waikerie Golf Club. The Wine and Wetland centre is situated overlooking the vineyards and a panoramic view of the wetlands, is the perfect place to relax and enjoy lunch from their menu showcasing local produce from the region. The wetlands and boardwalk are a bird watchers paradise, the scenery is absolutely stunning and well worth a look.
